Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to Wed in Peace (“Wed in Peace”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, services, and platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

1. About Wed in Peace

Wed in Peace is an online wedding vendor discovery platform that helps couples find, compare, and connect with wedding professionals across Sri Lanka.

Wed in Peace does not act as a wedding planner, booking agent, employer, or service provider.

Any agreement, payment, booking, or service arrangement takes place directly between the couple and the vendor.

2. Vendor Listings

Vendors may create and maintain profiles on the platform.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is:

  • Accurate
  • Up to date
  • Lawful
  • Not misleading

Wed in Peace reserves the right to edit, reject, suspend, or remove vendor profiles that violate these Terms.

3. Verification Program

Some vendors may receive a “Verified” status.

Verification indicates that a vendor has completed additional platform verification requirements.

Verification does not guarantee:

  • Service quality
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Availability
  • Business performance
  • Future conduct

Couples should still conduct their own research before engaging a vendor.

4. Reviews & Ratings

Vendor profiles may display ratings and reviews sourced from third-party platforms, including Google Business Profiles, where available.

Wed in Peace does not create, edit, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of reviews originating from third-party platforms.

Reviews displayed on vendor profiles remain the responsibility of the original review platform and reviewer.

Wed in Peace reserves the right to remove review integrations that violate platform policies or applicable laws.

5. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors remain fully responsible for:

  • Services provided
  • Pricing and quotations
  • Availability
  • Customer communication
  • Deliverables
  • Contracts and agreements
  • Payment collection
  • Customer support

Any agreement entered into between a couple and a vendor is solely between those parties.

Wed in Peace is not a party to any booking, contract, payment, dispute, or service arrangement.

6. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the platform available and operational.

However, Wed in Peace does not guarantee uninterrupted access and may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, website content, designs, and platform materials remain the property of Wed in Peace unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or copy platform content without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Wed in Peace operates solely as a wedding vendor discovery and directory platform.

Wed in Peace does not:

  • Employ vendors
  • Represent vendors
  • Guarantee vendor quality
  • Guarantee vendor availability
  • Guarantee booking outcomes

Users engage with vendors at their own discretion and risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wed in Peace shall not be liable for any loss, damage, dispute, cancellation, delay, misconduct, or dissatisfaction arising from vendor services.

9. Account Suspension

Wed in Peace reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that:

  • Provide false information
  • Violate platform rules
  • Abuse other users
  • Engage in fraudulent activity

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Directory Disclaimer

Wed in Peace is an independent wedding vendor directory and discovery platform.

The presence of a vendor on the platform, including vendors displaying a Verified Badge, does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, certification, or warranty of the vendor's services.

Couples are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence, review portfolios, verify suitability, request quotations, and enter into separate agreements before engaging any vendor.

Wed in Peace shall not be responsible for any arrangements, agreements, disputes, or outcomes resulting from interactions between couples and vendors.
